19th June 2026 marked the 30th anniversary celebration of the formation of the FAA Squadron. The Sqn's very first fly in was held at Compton Abbas, and appropriately it was to Compton that we returned 30 years on. Where did that time go!

A rare opportunity to visit 7 Chinook Sqn at RAF Odiham was bound to ensure a high level of interest. Our Buzz editor Brent is currently working on his latest project, a Tiger Moth in his hangar based in Pennsylvania. He still has a way to go and is awaiting the arrival two reconditioned magnetos and a few other parts. But as you can see, he is proudly showing off the Squadron crests that I'm sure will invite interest from our American cousins.
